I'm hoping they'll add hero tomorrow on itunes, I'm so pumped at ready to download it.
They posted on their myspace about the new album. The presale of the album will be coming soon! Something about the presale featuring "Monster" and "Hero"

Here are the presale options (prices may vary):
Option 1 (from above) would be priced at $15.97 but include immediate download of Hero, the fanclub that give you all you've seen listed above as well as first dibs at concert tickets with premium seats, saved money from ticket surcharges (ticketmaster), exclusive meet and greets with the band (many of you know it's just not possible for the band to sign autographs for everyone so this gives us a controlled way to continue), an exclusive community. We also plan on rolling this board into the fanclub. That was always the plan when we moved it to Skillet.com but I opted out of the last fanclub company and therefore just kept it as is. The normal fan club price is $20-30 a year but we want our fans to get it basically free for the first year so you all can see what it will be like and therefore the price not including a normal fan club charge.
Option 2 would be priced at $19.97 and include Awake, immediate download, VIP laminate, and year membership to fanclub.
Option 3 would be priced at $29.97 and include Awake, immediate download, VIP laminate, year membership to fanclub, and exclusive presale Tshirt.

What I'm wondering is their banner thing on their myspace says the preorder features both Hero and Monster. But so far all I've seen with the preorder info is the immediate download of Hero...
Either way I think I'm gonna preorder it.

It means that the actual album includes the singles Monster and Hero. Haven't you ever seen albums with stickers on them saying 'Featuring the songs...' It's so people can associate songs they've heard with the album.

You just made my day.  Skillet is a really cool band. I loved Collide. And Comatose was really good, just not as heavy as I would prefer. The only song I've heard from their new album is "Hero." Does anybody know where I can listen to "Monster?"

But someone else said they had John wrapped like a mummy, and I interpreted that as them being confused, slightly....it's so hard to not be able to hear tone of voice, considering only 10% of communications is verbal (the words).

^True. But I was kinda hoping for a piano intro, cause in one of the preproduction podcasts John was playing the piano and he said something like "That would make a nice soft intro"
Anywho, all of them but Monster are above 3 min so thats sweet.

I don't know, I hear it's harder than Comatose. But I think it might be a good radio friendly.

Anyways, iTunes finally has Hero as of today. Maybe now we'll get Monster on July 14... please?
