Ok, can we talk about how Sufjan Stevens is the best Christan artist out there? For all of those who have moved past the awkward stages of music loving, and have come to appreciate mature, deep jams.

I like how his lyrics are, as you
mentioned, deeper. I first heard of him from a non-Christian friend
who just likes good indie music. And because he doesn't make
blatantly Christian music, he can reach more people (like my friend).
But he still sings hope and honesty.

I like some Sufjan Stevens. I have Seven Swans and Illinoise. I'm planning on getting The Age of Adz in the new year. But me, I think he's one of the most over-rated artists out there. Yes, he's good, he's better than a whole lot of other music out there, but I think there's some better artists out there (Bill Mallonee, 16 HP/Woven Hand)...
