Seattle, WA—(July 24th, 2017) Kings Kaleidoscope explores new musical and visual expressions in their latest project “The Beauty Between.” A year after the launch of their last album “Beyond Control,” Chad Gardner, the band’s frontman, drew inspiration for the upcoming release from new friendships. The mixtape features several collaborations with hip-hop artists and producers, including: Propaganda, Andy Mineo, Beautiful Eulogy, Derek Minor, Beleaf, DSTL and more. The bold, colorful, and emotional arrangements that hallmark the band’s style find a visual home in the art of Tobias Gutmann, an artist based in Zürich, Switzerland. Known for his playful and abstract visual language, Gutmann worked with the band to create a visual universe: album artwork, music videos, merchandise and styling for live performances in cooperation with German fashion designer Hanna Rueckert. Gutmann's work with Kings--including a 32-page booklet of artwork--is now showcased on the band's website. After the release of their last album, the band spent the last year on the road in the US and overseas. “I was stacking up tons of ideas that were slightly different from what Kings would normally do but needed to get released,” says Gardner. The songs are a harmony of contrasting genres and personalities; they represent a search for balance and common ground between opposing ideas, different cultures, and people. Kings starts touring their newest project with Propaganda this September and with John Mark Mcmillan in October (tour dates below). “It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. A major creative stretch and challenge,” says Gardner. “But it's another adventure we get to tackle together and a stepping stone towards creative success as a fully independent band.” PRE ORDER THE MIXTAPE & PREVIEW ARTWORK LISTEN TO 'THE BEAUTY BETWEEN' SINGLE FEAT.
