Emerging Indie Artist Project Supports Mission of Mercy, Serving Orphans
in Poverty Stricken Areas of the World

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) March. 12, 2008—Indelible Creative Group, in association with, is announcing the release of Top 20 Indie 2008. The album compiles 20 of the most talented emerging artists from’s stable of independent Christian artists on one CD that releases on March 18, 2008. Artists and songs for the album were selected from members of by a panel of music industry experts from Indelible Creative Group and based on song quality, artist exposure and web traffic among other criteria.

"We've been looking for the right partner to help our members accomplish their mission,” comments Keith Mohr, president. “Joining with Indelible Creative Group to bring independent artists to the world is a real God thing. We look forward to the future with Chris Thomason and his team at Indelible."

In addition to the artists culled from, the album also features new music from “GMA in the Rockies” talent competition winners, Crystal Stark (2006) and Rachel Hurt (2007).

Chris Thomason, Indelible Creative Group president and founder, developed the concept for the project. “In the world of independent music there are very few places you can go to get ‘real world’ information and practical advice to facilitate artistry and ministry,” says Thomason. “ has proven to be that place, and we are excited to partner with them to create a product that brings greater awareness to independent artists.”

Top 20 Indie 2008 will also support Mission of Mercy’s Swaziland Mercy Center project in Africa. The Mercy Center serves orphans from pre-school through age 18 in the world’s highest known area of HIV/AIDS. Mission of Mercy is a Christian-based humanitarian organization helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children in poverty-stricken areas of the world. Through their programs, children receive food, education, medical aid and an opportunity to become contributing members and leaders of their communities. Mission of Mercy is active in 21 nations around the world.

We look forward to raising awareness and helping the needs of the children we serve through this CD project."

Later in the year Indelible Creative Group has plans for two more releases in the series including: Top 20 Indie Worship 2008 and Top 20 Indie Rock 2008. Word Distribution will handle sales for the albums priced at $9.99 in the CBA market with WEA servicing digital outlets, including iTunes, in the general market.
