Phillip LaRue, Let The Road Pave Itself

SEATTLE, WA......September 14, 2009...As one of this year's rising solo artists, BEC Recordings' Phillip LaRue receives his fifth song placement on national TV on CW's "One Tree Hill" season premiere episode with song "Chasing the Daylight." Fans can catch Phillip's song tonight, Monday, September 14th on CW 8/7 PM Central.

This song was also recently nominated in the first round of Gospel Music Channel's Music Video Awards in the "Contemporary" category. This is a fan-voted award, and Phillip's fans can show support for his music video nomination by voting (multiple times) here, .

Earlier this year, Phillip released his solo debut on BEC Recordings "Let the Road Pave Itself" to huge media acclaim including a Billboard New & Noteworthy review stating that his debut was "an intimate, insightful collection." Since the release, he has been featured on & with his this music video for "Chasing the Daylight." In addition to tonight's placement, this singer/songwriter has had four additional song features on television shows "Ghost Whisperer," (CBS) "One Tree Hill,"(CW) "Harper's Island" (CBS) and "The Hills" (MTV).

This spring, Phillip was an iTunes Discovery Download with his debut single as well as the "Listen Up" artist for Gospel Music Channel. He also was the Local Lightning Spotlight artist for the Nashville independent radio station Lightning 100 this summer.
