Nashville, TN (February 16, 2010) - Byron "Mr. Talkbox" Chambers plans to take the stage by storm for his CD release show at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville, TN on February 23rd, giving the crowd a sneak peek performance of selections from his brand new album. My Time is slated to release March 2nd and features special guest appearances from MOC, Khristian Dently, and Canton Jones.
The newest member of GRAMMY-winner TobyMac's Diverse City Band, the free show on February 23rd will be Chambers' first solo performance since moving to the city.
“I am so glad to be in Nashville where musical dreams can come true,” says Chambers. “My family (wife and 3 kids) and I have been welcomed by so many great people here. I am overjoyed to share my talent here and I hope everyone can come and experience me as an artist. Many have seen me as a band member with TobyMac and NSYNC to name a few, but I feel like it's my turn to step out of the back, into the front and share my music and story with Nashville and the world!”
My Time will be available for purchase that night, with a portion of the proceeds going to Sophia’s Heart, a charity founded by American Idol finalist and RCA Records recording artist, Danny Gokey. Existing to help mend and heal the hearts of children and families who have been touched by poverty, sickness, disease, broken homes and broken dreams, Sophia’s Heart is working towards establishing centers nationwide that combine Music and Arts in a technologically advanced, mainstream and culturally relevant manner, hoping to draw in children and youth and begin to address broader family needs.

Chambers explains, “It is an honor to get to partner with such amazing talent on this album. Not only are these folks my friends, but they are great artists in their own right and I’m excited they have agreed to lend their abilities to My Time. We even stopped the presses so Canton Jones could add his touches to the final version of ‘Clap Ya Hands.’”
