SEATTLE, WA...May 19, 2011...BEC Recordings’ is thrilled to announced the newest rock signing to the family - 7eventh Time Down. The four-member band hailing from Kentucky has been touring together for the past seven years while sharing the stage with such names as Skillet, Kutless, Pillar, Disciple, Fireflight, Stellar Kart, Family Force 5, Decyfer Down, Jars of Clay, and many more. The band will release their first CHR and Rock single “Alive in You” on June 3rd. They will be releasing their label debut on September 13th - more details to follow.

“I have been listening to BEC and Tooth & Nail bands for years now. They put out some of my favorite records with my top bands,” shares Mikey Howard, lead vocalist. “To now have the opportunity to be on the label is so incredibly humbling. Knowing God is allowing and enabling us to impact this world for the One to come through BEC Recordings is a dream come true.”

7eventh Time Down features members Mikey Howard (vocals), Eric Vanzant (guitar), Cliff Williams (bass), and Austin Miller (drums). The four members of the band are best friends and share their Christian faith that is the driving force behind every guitar hook and vocal melody. Their label debut album is produced by Grammy-nominated producer Scotty Wilbanks (Echoing Angels, DecemberRadio, Unhindered) at the Rockporium in Atlanta, GA.

About BEC Recordings:
Originally launched as a more commercially minded side of Tooth & Nail Records in 1997, BEC Recordings has since expanded with its own identity into one of the music industry’s most celebrated imprints. BEC Recordings was placed on the map with artists such as Jeremy Camp, KJ-52, and Kutless, when the label began to receive significant CHR or AC radio attention. BEC artists soon became a staple at both formats. Outside of breaking through in multiple radio formats (a trend that continued with Hawk Nelson, Adie, Seventh Day Slumber, The Museum and many more) BEC also branched out to audiences from all walks of life, as evidenced by its increased presence in literally every facet of pop culture (including movie soundtracks, major retailer advertising campaigns and countless package tours).
