Nashville, Tenn. - 13 September 2011 - This past weekend, Fair Trade Services artist Jonny Diaz appeared at CMB's Momentum Radio Conference held at Walt Disney World. During the Echo Awards held on Saturday, Diaz had the honor to perform his impactful current single, "Break My Heart," for hundreds of radio programmers from across the country.
Since the single released, Diaz has received an overwhelming response from fans and radio of how it has deeply impacted them. "Break My Heart," which sings of sharing the love of Christ with others and conveys the powerful lyrics: 'True grace sees a face, not a burden,' has hit home specifically for radio friends who have a heart for global missions. Below a couple of radio programmers have shared how the compassionate message of the song has impacted them:

"No doubt the highlight of 2011 for me was having the opportunity to travel to the Middle East and distribute shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. In a village decimated by war, the love of God was demonstrated through selfless acts of giving that not only afforded each child a gift, but also empowered God’s people to do a greater work. A small investment was opening a community to the life of the Gospel. 'Break My Heart' speaks to this truth. Fish and bread are multiplied in the Master’s hands…so are our seemingly small gifts of love. Without the 'breaking,' there’s no 'blessing.'

"Through WCSG's relationship with great organizations like Compassion International and Orphan Outreach, God has given me a passion for reaching the lost and hurting in other countries. After my third trip to Guatemala, I remember posting on Facebook: 'My heart
has been broken for the people of Guatemala and I don't want it to heal.' As Jonny Diaz
says in 'Break My Heart,' I wish we could all see past our picket fences and open our eyes
to a world that's much bigger than ourselves, and much more in need than we could
ever imagine."

"Break My Heart"
written by Jonny Diaz, Chris Stevens, Kate York
I see children in slavery
It’s all too much so I turn off the TV
A world away from the world they’re in
So I give up before I even begin
To try to make this right
To try to love like Christ
So help me see through the eyes of the hurting
Come break my heart, come break my heart
True grace sees a face not a burden
So come break my heart, won’t you break my heart
Come break my heart
It’s hard to see past my picket fence
So I give a little from a guilty conscience
How can I ever really make a change
When I’m too afraid to even feel their pain
I believe that love can bridge the distance
And I believe that one can make a difference
Cause one man on a cross changed the world
So help me see through the eyes of the hurting
Lord, break my heart, Lord, break my heart
Cause true grace sees a face not a burden
Come break my heart, won’t you break my heart
Help me see through the eyes of the hurting
Come break my heart, Come break my heart
Showing love should never be a burden
Come break my heart, won’t you break my heart
