About Paul Demer
With hundreds of songs and miles under his belt, Paul Demer is one of the most ambitious singer-songwriters in North Texas. Demer (20) attends the University of Texas at Arlington but spends almost every weekend playing concerts at home and around the country. Drawing influence from musicians like Jon Foreman, Nickel Creek, and The Shins, Demer crafts uplifting melodic tunes; relatable yet organic and original. Lyrically, these songs ask questions, share memories, and speak of hope.

While in high school, Demer fronted the indie rock band Second Story Feedback, releasing several records and performing around the Dallas - Forth Worth metroplex. In late 2011, Demer released his debut solo project, "Barks of Yore." The five-song acoustic EP, featuring introspective lyrics and folk-styled arrangements, marked the start of a new musical chapter. In 2012 Demer played over 100 shows in support of his new project, embarking on several short tours.

Demer plans to release a new full-length record in fall 2013.
