#2. Anberlin
untitled

Release Date: Summer '08
So Cities was our surprise favorite of 2007, but we're not gonna lie to you. The departure from Tooth & Nail and signing with a major deal with Universal makes a few of us a bit nervous, but then again... Cities...
        - John DiBiase

Last year was a great year for these guys. Cities was easily their best album yet and with their recent signing to Universal, we can expect even greater things to come!
        - Lauren Summerford

After what has seemed to be their most successful album to date, Anberlin will return with a new record on a new label this summer. Treating fans to Lost Songs was genius on the band and T&N’s part, and now they will be in the mainstream’s face, ready to prove they have staying power and raw, rare talent.
        - Justin Mabee

Anberlin has brought along many surprises from their fresh and straightforward sound beginning with their debut. They bring the songs that will continue to ring in our minds years from now. Anberlin's next album could venture into a new territory due to a new life on Universal Republic Records....
        - Wayne Myatt

Without the use of music genius Aaron Sprinkle this time around, it is going to be interesting what territory the Anberlin boys venture into next, especially after the exceptional Cities. Even though a bit skeptical, one can be reassured that the release of this next album will cause a major stir in the indie and mainstream music scenes...
        - Lindsay Wiseman
