Hey ppls!
i thought i would be kinda cool to look at the gifts the God has given us! God gives us gifts to use for His glory, it could be anything you love, or feel called to do. So, whats your gift??--mines Music...and thats about it

Mine is definitely singing for God, and playing the violin and drums for him as well.I love to do it, because I do it for Christ.

I never knew my gift either! i hate sports and i'm too clumsy for them anyway! lol i cant dance and i never really get the hang of anything i try my hand at.God recently started showing me the areas He has given me gifts for.Mine is song writing (im now learning keyboard too) and evangalising (i gotta say if Gods gunna get me doin that he has a lot of work to do!!! im too shy) but all in his timing right? lol this post is a good idea

LOL, Fire4Christ that is awesome! yeah, it's hard to do stuff like that when your shy.. but(like i told Anodyne a while ago), thats when your strongest. being shy means your more dependant on God's strength then your own! and that stregth will reach more ppl for Jesus then if you were fearless and didn't depend on God as much.

so count that as a blessing Fire4Christ, and use that evangelism gift ALL for Jesus!

my gift is playing guitar, and maybe ill start singing soon! And the funny thing is I got this gift almost right after I prayed to god saying " If you give me this talent I promice Ill use it for you only". And My skills have grown like crazy since then. Thank you God

You guys are surely gifted. I can feel it as read your your posts. Well, I love to sing. Its my passion. I also create dances for my church. And that is a gift that God is multiplying by helping the other girls to want to dance for God more. Like "He died 4 Me" I too write poems and songwriting but I'm not as gifted as you in this. Maybe we should hold a concert together!

Hey Simone! (which I think is a really cool name by the way!) A girl jsut started a dance team in my church and I think it's a really cool way to express feelings and praise towards God. Lol I think we should all dance before God at some point in our lives...keep it up!

Hey Kart! I guess music really is a huge part of your relationship with Jesus! That's awesome! If only more people would be as intimate with Jesus as you this world would be better. And yes, humming is kool too!

I have knack for sign language and writing. I try to fit the Gospel into my writings as often as I can, and I hope to work in deaf ministry after I finish college.

lol, singing could be used as a leading gift..but don't dive into anything, till you SURE it's what God wants you to do!
Praying for you, and be open to anything, cuz God could use you in ways that sound totally IMPOSSIBLE! but, with Him-- nothing in impossible.

Hi MyExample! You said that God keeps telling you something... That's gr8! That means He's got something great in store for you. You enjoy singing and wait on Him to lead you - though the road will seem hard! But He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

I think sign language is so amazing! I use as much as I can when I dance. But I don't know much. Its a great talent and what a ministry! I'll be praying for you, Jesusisking12. I know that many of the deaf will see and be with Jesus because of your faithfulness to God. You're such a great inspiration!

Oh wow, I have a few gifts that the Lord has blessed me with. I am a singer and a musician. I glorify the Lord in doing it as well. Each time I perform, I sing right to God. This gift is one that was like therapy to me. It actually was therapy at the beginning. I have a social disorder and do not talk to many at all. By singing or playing my music it is a way I communicate with others. It is a way for me to have a direct line to God as well. I play my instruments at least 4-6 hrs a day. I have vocal for 45 minutes a day. All this has helped me be more confident in the world. I am now able to hold my head higher as well. My mother is a classical musician and taught us the violin and cello from an early age. She was lucky to have children that love it as much as her. LOL She taught us that everything we do is to glorify the Lord and playing to Him or singing to Him is the greatest feeling. I play the guitar, drums and clarinet as well. Guitar a lot. My escape is in my music or singing.

Another gift I have I would say is that I love to volunteer my talents to agencies and as well raise money to help the under privledged. I have a sister that has lead by example in this. I have a very deep respect for her. In everything we do it is to be done with the intent to glorify the Lord. So it has helped me see and keep me accountable in my doings. I love music and it has helped me in the world. It has helped me become who I am. I hope that is a good person in the Lord.

    
    
    

I have a knack for poetry, and I can write pretty good essays under major pressure (50 minutes! uggh..) I have some art talent too, but I need more practice, training and praying to develop and refine it. The thing I might actually make a career out of, however, is biology. Life processes, genetics, cells, diseases, etc. have interested me for as long as I can remember. It would be so cool if God wants me in that field to find out incredible stuff about Creation and to battle the Darwinian brain-washing academic police.

thats the way music affect me too. you can just get lost in the word, and in who God is...its amazing! you got some HARDCORE talent going on there man, don't over do yourself lol. keep up the volenteering, it shows you care for others, and God can TOTALLY use you in doing that!

I had never really thought about this topic, until a while back. I was thinking what gifts/talents has God blessed me with? So I came up with these.

*He gave me a wonderful voice to sing Him praises.
*He gave me a wonderful ability to pick up any instrument and be able to play it. (For Him. ^u^)
*He gave me a pretty good artistic ability. I especially love to do artwork that involves doing interesting things with crosses.
*He gave me a flamboyant personality. I can be sociable and speak to people with ease. I get along with almost everyone i happen to meet. I am especially grateful for this because, I would like to one day be a Youth Pastor, and so I can communicate God's message to younger generations.
*I also have a wonderful ability to write. I am a pretty loquacious person, and I have been writing stories for as long as I can remember. Right now, I am writing a Christian novel. About a girl whose best friend commits suicide. So in dealing with that, she turns her back on God. Though in the end, she does meet someone who might turn her life around. Just e-mails me or some such if you would like to know more about the novel.
*I'm sure there might be more, but that is what i came up with :D

All I can say is that I am very blessed.
