   Topic: My New Lyrics

I recently wrote a new song called "Infitialis Verum" (Latin for rejecting the truth), tell me what you think  .
It isn't quite finished, and I would appreciate some ideas for some lines, but it's basically about all the stuff wrong with the world and how we need to do something about it.
(verse)
The pot has boiled over
The coffin's in the hearse
Our world is bleeding
Could this be any worse?
Our minds are numbed and
our emotions are stripped bare
The clothes we wore on our backs
are now rags from wear and tear
(chorus)
It's a part of life
Rejecting the truth
and accepting what's false
If we keep on going
it'll tear us apart
So why live a lie
To be in with the crowd?
Why not take the throne
and boldly wear a crown

The fields are filled with clover
and spring is in the air
But the best of times are gone
and so it doesn't matter
Our cuts are deep and
our scars can never heal
At least that's what they say
But there's another way

....wow. haha I thought this was gonna be a worship song....I was wrong
can anyone see ABR or TDWP singing this song? wow man that was incredible. like underoathfreak said it's one of the best posted on here!

Thanks guys! I have tried to write a couple of worship songs in the past but I have come to discover I'm better at tackling issues.

I'm better at doing that as well. Worship songs are too hard to write due to plagiarism. lol

I could relate to it. Actually, that's the state I'm in today (and so are all other Christian youth).

Finally finished "Just a Tease." It's meant to be a heavy rock song like "Sometimes" by Skillet. The pre-chorus and bridge are screamed. The song order goes Verse, Pre-chorus, Chorus, Verse, Prechorus, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus.
It's just a tease when you tell me I can have it all

When I take my final breath
I will find comfort in my death
