Lyrics:
Lord I know You hear me, Your word declares it so I believe it’s true If anyone should call Your name, You would take the pain and give them life anew Aimlessly I wander As I look around I don’t know what to do Broken and bewildered, I’m on my face, I’m crying out to You If You could walk on water, If You could part the sea I know You can calm the ocean, that’s been drowning me You made wine from water, from dust You made a man I know You can take these pieces, make me whole again I know You can Lord I know You’re near me Even in the depths, You said that You’d be there Slowly I am rising My hope in You, has me soaring through the air (You can) make my life complete You will be the one to fill this hole in me

Behind the Song: 'You Can” is essentially a prayer of praise put to music. It’s an acknowledgement of God’s greatness and His ability to make us over-comers when we believe in Him. As I penned the first verse and began the chorus, lyrically I seemed to hit a wall, so I threw it out to the guys. Shaun, James (Mr. Dylan) and I bounced ideas around until we had it hammered out.' - Shane Bowers (Julian Drive)
