(Nashville, Tennessee) –August 19, 2009 – Rebecca St. James crosses the Atlantic this week for a lightning round tour of major concert stagings in Europe.

Centerpiece of the schedule will be her return appearance this Thursday (20th) on the mainstage at Flevo Festival –one of Europe’s largest outdoor Christian events, hosted annually in the Netherlands.

This year’s August 20-23rd festival will be staged at the Bussloo Gelderland recreation area near Apeldoorn. More than 10,000 concert-goers are expected to rock away the 72 hours of continuous music that features more than 60 international Christian bands and solo artists.

Headliners joining Rebecca on the Flevo main stage this week will include Newsboys, Thousand Foot Krutch, Family Force 5, Fee, Parachute Band, and a broad array of satellite artists.

Following Flevo, Rebecca will make return concert stops for several European events before returning to the U.S.next week. Ahead: Fall U.S. concerts, film work, and a new book release, Loved, reaching retail in September from Hachette/Faithwords publishers.

She has just wrapped location work on her latest film project, Rising Stars, in which she plays the role of a harried celebrity ‘personal assistant’—complete with demanding clients, deadline headaches and fashionable glasses. “With my glasses on in the film, I’m told I bear an uncanny resemblance to Tina Fey,” Rebecca joked in a recent Twitter transmission to her universe of followers.

Rebecca’s first starring role in film will reach audiences this fall when the movie, Sarah’s Choice, releases to U.S. audiences on November 21st.
