Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland today announced the rebrand of their music label. Twenty years ago, Vineyard in the UK and Ireland released their first record, Come Now Is The Time. The album had a significant impact throughout the UK church and while worship has always been at the centre of the Vineyard movement, 2018 marks a transitional moment in the history of the movement’s worship development. From January 2018, Vineyard Records UK will be rebranded as Vineyard Worship UK and Ireland with the mission continuing to be capturing the songs that are emerging from churches across the United Kingdom and Ireland and releasing them through the UK and beyond. John and Debby Wright, National Directors of the Vineyard Movement are bringing fresh vision to the worship values and DNA of the Vineyard in the UK & Ireland. Debby says this about this season of worship: ‘We are emerging like a butterfly into something that lies at the heart of Vineyard, we are back to our roots: worshipping him. 20 years ago God blessed us in a wonderful way, we blessed the world and gave away what started in our hearts. This year we are going back to those fundamentals. It’s all about worship.’ As part of the relaunch, Harmony Smith has been appointed as Director of Worship for Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland. She and her husband Andy pastor Belfast City Vineyard and serve on the Vineyard UK and Ireland leadership team. Jimmy Cooke will continue in his role as Director Of Production & Publishing. Harmony says, “We are a movement of worshipping communities whose highest priority is the presence of God. Our mission is to train worship leaders, equip the church and to capture the songs that emerge from within our movement.” Vineyard Worship will focus on: worship training and development, national gatherings, and capturing and documenting the songs that emerge from the movement. The first album to be released on the new label will be Samuel Lane’s second release, The Difference, scheduled for February 2, 2018 and featuring all-new songs highlighting Lane’s unique, intimate and authentic style. For more information about the Vineyard Worship please visit: Web: www.vineyardworship.org.uk About Vineyard Worship: Vineyard Worship UK & Ireland will host their annual Song Summit and Worship Retreat in March gathering around 250 worship leaders and songwriters from across the movement to be trained, inspired and equipped for the coming year. The 2018 release schedule kicks off with a brand new studio album from Samuel Lane called The Difference which releases worldwide on 2nd Feb and plans are underway for a sixth studio record in the Great Big God kids worship series. In April, Vineyard Worship UK & Ireland will release a new live worship record featuring live worship and new songs recorded at Vineyard UK & Ireland national conferences.
