For our 6th annual Highlighting feature, we did things a little differently. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and July to December.
Please keep in mind that, since we have no crystal ball, our predictions for releases set for later in the year don't always come out on time, so if you see some albums missing from the "Second-Half," it may be because they already won for the "First-Half" but were pushed back into the "Second-Half" and WON'T get counted twice. Also, some releases projected for late 2012 were pushed into 2013 (and some we picked may still get pushed back...which is beyond our control).
