"Jesse was playing around with an energetic riff one day. Shaun and I were really into it. As we sat down to write around the musical idea, we began brainstorming everything that God had done with us as individuals and what he had done through our ministry over the years. Everything has ups and downs, including ministry. It can be tough at times, but we couldn’t help but look back and see that God had always taken every step of the journey with us; even when the step might have been the wrong one. As we reminisced and talked more, a light went off and we realized what the hook to our song would be.
