Lyrics:
Hush I can hear you breathing Sweet The taste of your tender kiss I’m crazy, crazy tonight Baby hold me tonight Capture my heart
Hold me til morning Love me right now Catch me, I’m falling Never let go Hold me til morning Love me right now
Stop Let my love surround you Safe My face inside your hands I’m crazy, crazy tonight Baby hold me tonight Capture my heart
Hold me til morning Love me right now Catch me, I’m falling Never let go Hold me til morning Love me
And I will never be the same again Tonight lives forever in my dreams And I will be there when the morning comes Tonight lasts forever
Hold me til morning Love me right now Catch me, I’m falling Never let go Hold me til morning Love me
Hold me til morning Love me right now Catch me, I’m falling Never let go Hold me til morning Love me
And I will never be the same again
Behind the Song: “This is weird, but when I wrote this song, it had almost no meaning to me. I wrote it originally as a pop song for someone else. The lyrics were a little different: ‘Love me til morning, touch me right now,’ and as much as I love this song, I couldn’t sing it because it sounded like a one-night stand and I’m not about that kind of stuff. But then the label heard it, and they decided to add it to this album, so I had to change the lyrics and make It more appropriate for me. Now it’s really about our wedding night; by just changing a few lines I turned it into something that reminds me distinctly of the first night I was Jeremy’s wife. That was the first night we’d ever slept together, and I’m so proud that we waited for marriage to be united in that way. It was the most magical day and night of my life. You don’t want to forget it; you want it to live forever. One of my favorite movies is Love Story, and there’s a part in the film where Ryan O’Neal is carrying Ali McGraw through a doorway and somebody says, “Ah, newlyweds!’ Ali looks over her shoulder and says, ‘Eternally.’ We’re the same way. We were married two years ago, and I still feel like it was yesterday.” – Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (Plumb)
