Washington, DC.... December 22, 2023 - DC based singer songwriter and Trumpeter Jumbo Aniebiet shares his highly anticipated album We Will Worship (Live). Jumbo’s commitment to outreach is the brainchild for “We Will Worship”, an annual outdoor worship event at the Silver Spring Civic Center in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. After nine editions of the event, attendees and fans across the world now have a body of work that allows them to relive many of the amazing moments.
To celebrate the release of his new album, Jumbo is unveiling the live performance video of “Hallelujah” featuring Freke Umoh; a track and video that displays his musical versatility as he explores a genre outside the bounds of worship music. This Afrobeat track is dance inducing with its pulsating beats, wavy Congolese guitar lines and joy-giving bass lines.
“This project is a testament to the commitment and perseverance of my amazing team,” says Jumbo. “Over the years, we have hit some difficult patches hosting an event of this magnitude but through it all we have continued to grow.” As we prepare for the 10th edition, the anticipation is palpable and we are ready to curate an excellent worship experience that will cause people to partake in the Gospel of Christ through music.
Special thanks to everyone who has ever been a part of “We Will Worship” as an attendee, volunteer, organizer or sponsor.
