Jon reflects; “This song initially came from the secret place. I was spending time in prayer and as my heart was just overcome with the holiness, perfection and wonder of Jesus, the only thing that my heart desired to say was ‘Jesus, there is no one like you’. They seemed to be the only words that were appropriate in that moment. I then took that simple chorus to Anabeth and Rich. Collectively, we were keen to take inspiration from simple statements from both scripture and the ancient creeds of the Church, about the character and actions of Jesus.”
Rich adds; “We wanted to write verses where every line was singularly about the unique person of Jesus.”
The recording features the renowned voice of Samuel Lane (Rock And Redeemer Vineyard, UK), known for his impactful songs like ‘Saved', 'Look To Jesus' and ‘Beautiful’, and is the first single from the forthcoming Vineyard Worship EP Christ In All Things.
‘No One Like You’ releases everywhere on Friday 16th February 2024.
