
When first introduced to Disciple, I was thinking, "Here we go with another CD that sounds like Kutless or Thousand Foot Krutch." Not that there's anything wrong with those bands, but Disciple blew me away. After listening to this album, I had a new approach to Christian metal. From the intro of "I Just Know," to the ending riff of "Furthermore," the album was great. "I Just Know" is an anthem to me, having experienced churches not doing what is required, serving the Lord. "Big Bad Wolf" is another heavy song (not that all the other songs are heavy) in which vocalist Kevin Young explains how he will not allow Satan into his heart again. This album will convert fans of those who listen to such bands as Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Deftones to Christian metal.
