#07. John Reuben
Word Of Mouth

Release Date: February 6
Hip-hop for the thinking man is back once again. Underrated and sold too short all too often, this Ohio-based rapper mixes infectious hip-hop beats with laid-back raps to create a strong ten-pack of pop tracks. Word Of Mouth is one 2007 record we're ready to spread the word around about...
        - John DiBiase

Having released one of the most consistently engaging albums of the year with 2005's The Boy Vs. The Cynic, John Reuben's fifth release brings with it the added expectation of continued brilliance. Described as a musical mix between Hindsight and Cynic, fun-loving rap fans should be counting down the days until this disc drops.
        - Sherwin Frias

John Reuben is now on his fifth studio record and is out to prove he can still have fun and still be quite serious when the time comes. Chalk up another Reuben record where parts can be pretty fun and entertaining, and the rest can be a bit cynical with in-your-face topics.
        - Justin Mabee
