Andy's Messianic Music

Andy's Messianic Music
Closer Than a Brother

Street Date: July 12, 2015
Style: Christian Messianic / Folk
Official Site: Official Website

Andy Wallin is a Messianic Jew and the founder of Andy's Messianic Music. If you are unfamiliar with the term "Messianic Jew," the concept is simple. Andy is of the Jewish faith, but believes that Jesus (Yeshua) was in fact the Son of God and the promised Messiah. Andy Wallin is a member of a Messianic Temple in Illinois and writes worship music. While his newest album, Closer Than a Brother, is definitely worship music, it has a bit of a Jewish folk sound to it. Andy's lyrics call for praise of God the Father, as well as Jesus, the Son (usually referred to as "Messiah" or "Yeshua"). Wallin offers twenty different selections of worshipful praise. The lyrics are Biblical and, unless you're a member of the Messianic community, the musical style will probably be new to you. Andy's Messianic Music is not for every taste, but other Messianic followers will certainly be interested in Andy Wallin's project. You'll definitely want to give Closer Than a Brother a listen if you're interested in Jewish culture or art/music, interested in the Messianic community, or just want to hear some worship music that is likely very new to you.
