Life UNLTD
Cloudbursts & Thunderclaps

Street Date: September 25, 2020
Style: Contemporary Worship
Official Site: Lifeunltd.com.au

Bursting onto the worship scene from Brisbane, Australia, Life UNLTD joins the industry with an excellently produced live recording of nine tunes on their debut titled, Cloudbursts & Thunderclaps. For those listeners out there on the hunt for more passionate and exciting live worship experiences a la Hillsong United, Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, or Passion, then add this one to your list post-haste. If lyrics that move beyond the typical church language cliches to greater depths are your thing, then "Beloved (Beyond All Reason)" would be a great place to start. In it, they sing in the pre-chorus and chorus of God's faithfulness, "I can hear your whisper/Oh how it pulls my heart/Leading me to find You/Restore these shattered parts/Kind beyond all reason/Merciful and good/Lord You never leave me/And you never will." Al in all, this is an admirable effort that sounds pristinely produced, points to the finished work of Savior Jesus, and has a few interesting musical moments (the danceable opener "The Adventure" comes to mind) to keep things engaging across the nine songs. With any future releases, a deeper dive beyond common worship phrases and metaphors would make for a good next step. But for now, this is a solid effort from newcomers Life UNLTD.
