So once again I have lost my brain. Some might say I’m half-insane. I searched all over to get the score. I found out what I’d been looking for… I’m opaque, and OK. I can’t tell where I’ll be one way to the next. I’m lost, with a cost. Yes I may seem confusing while I’m caught up in perusing now… Well Nostradamus told me. He said the sky was falling. So when world becomes another sun. At least I’ll have had my fun. Just take some gasoline, maybe some kerosene. Let’s smoke and paint and have ourselves a ball. Hey can you guess what I’ll think of next?…Now you’ve been looking me in the eye. You think me stuck in a world of lies. But I tell you brother just give it a whirl. You’ll find you’ll be loving the abstract world… I might break, that’s OK. I’m not strong and mighty but I’m kinda thin and spunky. Ambitious and ridiculous. The hipsters unite under an Old City, moonlit night… Well Nostradamus told me. He said the sky was falling. So when world becomes another sun. At least I’ll have had my fun. Just take some gasoline, maybe some kerosene. Let’s smoke and paint and have ourselves a ball. Hey can you guess what I’ll think of next?… Seems I’ve been out for some time. But I got tired of working for you. So judgmental and condescending you are. I’ll make it my own way… Well Nostradamus told me. He said the sky was falling. So when world becomes another sun. At least I’ll have had my fun. Just take some gasoline, maybe some kerosene. Let’s smoke and paint and have ourselves a ball. Hey can you guess what I’ll think of next?…

Behind the Song:
“A song about a pretentious movement of post-college folks who believe that they must experience all that the world has to offer. They were isolated by their parents and are now free to pursue all manner of experimentation and excitement that all big cities promise. This is an age-old story, yet every generation thinks they are the first ones to adopt the pseudo-artistic lifestyle.” - Nick
