Top 25 Gotee & Mono vs Stereo Albums of All Time

Let's get started...   NEXT

Top 25 Gotee & Mono vs Stereo Albums of All Time

Along with his friends Todd Collins and Joey Elwood, dcTalk member TobyMac founded Gotee Records in 1994, the year before he and his bandmates released their landmark album Jesus Freak, and two years before Jesusfreakhideout was founded. The label started with the r&b/pop act Out of Eden, releasing Lovin' the Day on March 22, 1994. And in the 26 years since its launch, Gotee and its sister label, Mono vs Stereo, have released a few hundred original studio albums from a wide range of artists and styles, including some of the best and most highly-regarded Christian albums of all time.

As we did in 2018 for Tooth & Nail Records' 25th anniversary, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight the fantastic discography of Gotee Records - even if we are a year late! But since Gotee's collection is substantially smaller than Tooth & Nail's, we won't be counting down the top 100. Rather, we'll be taking a look at the top 25 releases from both Gotee and Mono vs Stereo Records, with a maximum of two albums per artist (otherwise a certain Relient K would be like a quarter of the list - but it also lets us shine some light on some of the smaller, yet definitely worthy artists).

The entire top 25 is being presented at once, instead of in a weekly series like the aforementioned Tooth & Nail list, so you won't have to wait any longer than it takes to navigate through a few pages. Please keep in mind that, no, this is probably not your top 25 list. Nor is this the top 25 of any single member of the JFH staff. The staff members that participated all collaborated and the final product is based off of individual album rankings.

Now it's time to head to the list!

To get started at number 25, click here! And be sure to scroll down on our top pick page to see a handful of albums that didn't make the list, but that we couldn't possibly forget to mention honorably. You might be surprised at what didn't make the final cut...
