#09. P.O.D.
untitled
Release Date: Sometime '07

|
I'm probably as surprised as anyone that P.O.D. is in our top 10 anticipated 2007 releases, but with
the re-instatement of original guitarist Marcos Curiel, the excitement over a new label and reviewed vision,
how could we not be stoked about P.O.D. again?? I think we're as ready as anyone for P.O.D. to redeem
their most recent records, so we'll just have to be patient and let that refreshed talent simmer...

With 2006 bringing the band's most spiritual album since Satellite, and an announcement that the band was looking for a
new record label, one could only think that P.O.D. has been doing a little soul searching. It seems they have found what they've
been looking for, with the many things that have transpired since, starting with the release of Testify, the exit of
guitarist Jason Truby, and the reinstatement of Marcos Curiel as guitarist. Now, with a new record deal, a new look on music,
and renewed friendship, P.O.D. looks to reinvent itself in 2007. It will truly be something to watch unfold.
