#8. P.O.D.
When Angels And Serpents Dance
Release Date: April 8

It’ll be interesting to see what the present of the infamous Marcos will do to rejuvenate these guys.
They’ve done a lot of changing since the Satellite days…but will they be able to retain some of their former
glory? Maybe even take us as far back as Southtown? Oh, we can only hope and pray!

After a tumultuous time dealing with record label contracts, band member changes, and much more,
the reggae-laced hard rockers P.O.D. are back with the original line-up back in place and a new record,
When Angels and Serpents Dance. With the new recording, the band promises that old elements have returned,
yet new ones are there that are sure to impress and surprise even the most die-hard P.O.D. fan.
This record sounds like it will be one that has been definitely worth the wait!

An album we were anticipating last year, hopefully the year's delay will be worth our anticipations. The
early snippet of the title track isn't all too exciting, but we're still holding out hope that
the magic may return...

P.O.D. is one of the few bands in the Christian realm to achieve double platinum status, and it's easy to see
what drove the crowds to this band at the beginning of this decade. Their music was fierce, catchy, yet it was
appealing and easy to get into for new listeners alike, providing a mix of sounds from 80s rock, raggae, Nu Metal,
and Hard Rock. P.O.D. never quite seemed the same ever since Macros departed from the band in 2002. Now that
Macros has returned to the band as well as P.O.D. signing to Christian label INO, we can look forward to some new
changes as well as perhaps the return of the original band...
