Album Cover
#5. Kevin Max
AWOL

Release Date: Early 2018
K-Max is on a roll, and the influences on his new album (classic English alternative bands like The Smiths and The Cure) have gotten my attention. Max is a restless, creative force, and his “second act” is starting to rival his first in terms of quality (if not sales and notoriety). Keep it up, Kevin!
        - Alex Caldwell

Max continunally proves himself to be a versatile and interesting singer/songwriter. His covers EP, Serve Somebody, and last full length, Playing Games with the Shadows, show the creative spark is still strong with him.
        - John Underdown

K-Max is promising big things from AWOL and I can't help but believe him. Not only has he been extremely prolific since leaving Audio A, but the material has been high quality. Any time Kevin announces an album I'm paying attention -- you should be too.
        - Michael Weaver

What's a new year without more music coming from Kevin Max? It's always nice when an artist is able to excel in both quantity and quality of music, and Kevin Max definitely does both. From the title alone, AWOL will undoubtedly sound nothing like his previous albums (also pretty obvious considering his track record), so I'm super curious to hear what Kevin Max has been up to since his covers album, Serve Somebody.
        - Christopher Smith

Never one to do the same thing twice, what will the free spirited Kevin Max release to the listening world next? Upcoming album AWOL’s early demo sound clips and descriptions from the singer himself have me highly anticipating this as his best work yet. His PledgeMusic campaign started Jan. 5, and I for one am curious to hear the promised first six songs that will go out to all contributors.
        - Josh Balogh

I'm certainly not going to be absent when K-Max's newest album comes... either with out without leave!
        - Mark Rice
