#8. Family Force 5 (FF5)
Audiotorium

Release Date: TBD
Is this album ever going to happen?!? I’m beginning to wonder if the rift between band and label can be mended, with a way forward for the band. I’m hoping the departure of three band members doesn’t keep the album from ever seeing the light of day. I, for one, don’t want 2014’s Time Stands Still to be the last we hear from these purveyors of danceable crunk rock.
        - Josh Balogh

These “Kountry Gentlemen” are a spicy enchilada, and I look forward to every album they release. There’s nothing like them in CCM, and their last tour (the one titled after their new album that they haven’t been allowed to release yet) was a cheeky and creative way to get the word out, in spite of their record label troubles.
        - Alex Caldwell

It's been a while since we heard from our favorite Family, and now that the 5 is down to 2, I am wondering where the Olds brothers will go in terms of both sound and vocals. 2014's Time Stands Still proved that these guys still got some crunk left to crank out, but the radio-friendly side was very much present on that effort. Now that Showbread is truly Showdead, we really need Family Force to keep the crazy, frenetic side of Christian music alive. Let's hope that their upcoming album shows a return to form, and that Family Force retains what makes them different from other musical acts.
        - Nicole Marie Vacca

I didn't technically vote for FF5 on this feature, but with all the label drama surrounding this album, it makes me think there is something different about this release. I would like to know what that is!
        - Christopher Smith
