Sitting with my wife, kid brother in an empty room

Infection, surgery, like paralysis

Mom getting crazy weak, Mom can barely speak

This current hospital stint's been a month
Mom keeps fighting but they say it's not enough

We're sorry that she's in the ICU, yeah the second floor
We called you here because she had a heart attack the night before
Her heart went out, we got it back, but then it just went out again
There's no brain activity, it's not a good state she's in
She' hooked to a machine that does the breathing for her
I'm sorry but the woman that you know is no more
Today you need to take your Mom off life support
