I see you as your walking by
You noticed me it's in your eyes
You know just what it is I need
And look away
You think if you can just pretend
You didn't see this helpless man
My blood would be washed from your hands
Don't you believe?
Chorus:
Don't let me die alone
Leave here without it
Just give it up
Let me see some love
The effort couldn't come too late
To show me that I'm no mistake
Cause while you sleep I lye awake
I need to dream
Could someone please just take the time
To push away their selfish pride
I'm grounded now but need to fly
Believe in me
Chorus:
Don't let me die alone
Leave here without it
Just give it up
Let me see some love
Time won't change a thing
Let us all break from the ordinary
Time won't change a thing
Let us all take what our hearts can't carry
Chorus:
Don't let me die alone
Leave here without it
Just give it up
Let me see some love

Behind the Song:"As Christians we claim to have a passion to help people. We invest
offerings into foundations for this and that. We send money to people on
the mission field. We even venture out on occasion and go on trips to build
churches and minister to people in poverty stricken environments. However,
we often overlook the people who live with us everyday. People we work
with, go to school with, go to church with, people that are literally dying
just to get a little word of encouragement, or to have a friend. Often
times these people aren't the coolest to be seen hanging around with. Some
are just regarded to as weird, and that's the reason why they always sit by
themselves or avoid social interaction. Many times we just pretend we are
unaware of the truth so that we can't be blamed for being selfish. We don't
want to inconvenience ourselves when all they need is to be loved. Not in
private where we can get away with keeping our social status in tact, but
out in the open where they will know its for real. Too many people live
short miserable lives and die alone simply because nobody was willing to
swallow their pride and show them some love. The ordinary way of living now
is to keep an eye out for yourself and your own well-being. Ensure your own
success then help others out after you've achieved it. We need to break
from that mold and we can't wait for time to bring on some sort of movement
that does it for us. Time won't change a thing by itself. We are the ones
that have to change what ordinary is." - Jason Wilkes (
