Inhabited
Love

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 10 tracks: 35 minutes, 38 seconds
Street Date: February 26, 2008

With a freshly signed contract with 7 Spin Music, Inhabited is back and better than ever with their new album, Love. The breakaway from Fervent Records could not have come at a better time, seeing as this record is more diverse musically and lyrically than Inhabited's previous release. The Revolution was written to lead teens to Christ through relatable lyrics and an extremely catchy sound. It might have been the wake up call, but Love is the "get up and go." This is the type of album that finds itself in your album rotation for weeks without end.

Sara Delight continues to dominate the female-fronted Christian rock stereotype with "We Will Live," a song with enough force musically and lyrically to make any Christian - guy or gal, young or old - get on their feet and actively live out their faith. "Love," the album's title track the album is named for, is a toned down ballad aimed towards the yearning for God that only those in need of Him can know. "Love" is the kind of song that brings unsaved souls to the front to finally surrender their hearts. "I Miss You" is a comforting number about the loss of someone close. "A Song To The Fatherless" is clearly aimed at those who lack father figures and will make even those with the most devout fathers long for the Heavenly Father. "Hush," the current single off the album, is already making its way onto the Myspace pages of girls everywhere. This song has the momentum to take on popular secular song of its likeness and enough of a catchy-groove to make your typical soccer mom bop her head on the way to practice.

Overall, Love is an well-written album with guitar riffs and pop grooves you'd only expect from mainstream counterparts. The whole album is a rollercoaster ride of fight, surrender, confusement, faith and ultimately, love. Each song has radio potential and it is a very safe bet to say that Inhabited is only going to mature with time. If you thought The Revolution was unbeatable, wait until you pick up the new release. You're going to Love it!
