With a label/artist review on Jesusfreakhideout.com, we will provide an honest and fair critique of your project, as well as lasting exposure on the world wide web. Our label/artist review service guarantees a listen to your recording, an honest star-rated review, a link to your website or social media page (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Spotify), your review archived for continuous exposure and reference, and widespread exposure through the esteemed JFH readership.

"Any Restrictions?" - Due to a surprising increase in occurrences, as of JULY 2023, we will NOT be accepting music submissions that contain the use of strong profanity. Please do not signup and submit music with vulgar or profane lyrics (especially the "S" and "F" words). Please keep this in mind before signing up. We do believe a message can be conveyed clearly without any need for profane emphasis (but we acknowledge that not everyone else agrees with this). If you do signup and submit music that contains lyrical profanity, we reserve the right to not review your music on JFH and may keep your submission fee depending on how much time we've already spent on your submission. Please also realize that any artist submitting music to JFH is assumed to be a believer - or group of believers - in Christ and is okay with being associated with the Christian music genre.

Note Regarding Use of AI - As of April 2025, we will NOT be accepting submissions where music is created entirely by AI. In fact, if all of the music OR all of the vocals are created by AI, we will not be accepting that either. If you are using AI as a tool in your music - whether to help with lyrics or something else that is only a piece of your music-making process, that should be fine but you MUST specify this when submitting your music for review. Please be specific about the way(s) you used AI in the creation of your music. We feel it's important to be entirely transparent about the ways in which AI is being used if it is being used.

"Can I get an artist page?" - YES you can! You can make a small donation to support JFH in return for an artist page added to our official Artists Database. For your own label artist database page, you submit all of your member info, web and social media links, album discography (just titles and years), some "For Fans Of" artist suggestions (optional) and an artist promo photo to us and we'll post a page for you in our artists database. You can maintain your artist page any time by just emailing us updates for adding a new album, or link changes. You are responsible for sending us all the necessary information for your page, however (Although we may do our best to update your page as we hear about new label releases). The cost for the creation and maintenance of the page is just $25 USD. There are also a couple review packages below that will include the page. If you have a review in addition to an artist page, we can link your review on your page (and vice versa). Here's an example entry: bodie.

"Can you post a press release for me?" - YES! If you provide a finished, press-ready release, were happy to consider it for our News page and feed. There's no cost for standard submissions those are posted at our discretion and as time allows. If you'd like your news guaranteed for a specific date (or posted within 12 business days), we also offer a Priority Posting option. Priority Posting includes a guaranteed timeline plus a share to our Facebook and X/Twitter pages. The cost is $25 USD per post.

"Can I get just an interview?" - YES you can! You can make a small donation to support JFH in return for a label artist interview conducted over email. The fee for this option is just $25 USD for a 7 to 10 question email interview. There are also a couple review packages below that will include an interview (See Below). "How do I sign up for a review?" - The basic JFH Label Artist Review Submission service is just $40 USD and includes the following:

1. At least a 1 to 3-paragraph professional review with consideration for a longer-written review.
2. Your own review page where you can feature your own music player via any service you wish - like Bandcamp, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc. - just provide us with the embed code!
3. Your review will be archived permanently (link) for linking purposes and future reference.
4. Your review will appear on the front page of Jesusfreakhideout.com for a week or more
5. A link to your artist webpage (i.e. official website, Facebook, Bandcamp, etc)
6. A buy link for your album (Apple Music or Amazon is preferred)
7. Your album artwork will be displayed alongside the review

Album Review Package + Artist Page - We offer the option to expand our services for the label artist to give you a more prominent presence on JFH for just a small additional fee. The JFH Label Artist Review Submission + Artist Page is just $60 USD and includes ALL of the above PLUS the following:

1. An artists database page - You submit all of your member info, web & social media links, album discography (just titles and years), some "For Fans Of" artist suggestions (optional) and an artist promo photo to us and we'll post a page for you in our artists database. You can maintain your artist page any time by just emailing us updates for adding a new album, or link changes. Two-Review Package - We realize that some people want more than one opinion on their music. The "Two-Review" Package includes everything from the ground level review option but NO interview posting. What you will get, however, is TWO staff review opinions. The second review will be a "Second Staff Opinion" review (so it'll be shorter, most likely, than the main album review). But, in the end, you have TWO opinions, as opposed to just one. The JFH Label Artist Review Submission Two-Review Package service is just $70 USD

Supreme Package - This is the package for those who want all of the review options. $95 USD and includes everything from the first, base-level review option PLUS the following:

3. Song lyrics added to our site in our main Lyrics Database - The lyrics will then be linked back to the tracklisting on your review page (**Lyrics must be provided by the artist via email in the body of the email or as a Word Doc or txt file)
4. A short 7 to 10 question interview conducted by the JFH staff to be run separately from your review (interview would be conducted via email)! We can run this at the same time as when your review goes live, or before/after your review posting. Here's an example interview: Coqui.
5. Priority Posting New PR Post - Send us your post-ready press release and receive a guaranteed timeline plus a share to our Facebook and X/Twitter pages ($25 value)
6. Guaranteed listing of your single or album release among our release dates!

"How do I send you the music?" - After sending your Label Artist Review Submission fee, you will be directed to a page with further directions on how to submit your music to us (if the redirect doesn't happen, please email us!). Please send a digital copy of your album (or EP or Single), and/or a link to download the album/EP/single via email to us -- we do not accept a collection of random songs or demos; it must be a project being released to the public. Please also email us a bio or EPK of yourself or band when submitting your music. Please do NOT send us a STREAM of your music. If you want your music reviewed, it must be available as a download. We will not review streaming music. Do not send us a link to your Soundcloud or Spotify account or another streaming service with random songs on it. You must send completed music in download form. We also need a completed set of music. If it's a single, that's fine. If it's an EP or album, please do not send us incomplete batches of songs still in progress. We will only review a completed set of songs.

"After I sign up, how long is the turnaround?" - Upon receiving your Label Artist Review Submission fee and music, we will have your review for you within 40 days of us receiving the music for review. (Note: The 40 day window does not start until we receive the music for review.)

Please note: It is your responsibility to send the music to us. If you do not send us the music and later decide you would like a refund of the submission fee, we can provide a full refund up until 60 days after the receipt of payment. If you request a refund after 60 days, Paypal keeps their service fee and we will only refund the difference.

"What else do I need to know?" - Once we receive your music submission, the submission fee is not refundable. We do not guarantee positive reviews or "Label Artist Spotlight" reviews for every submission. We are offering honest, fair critiques of your work, which is a great way to garner crictical feedback while getting your name published on a reliable, long-running and trusted media source. If you are unhappy with the review we give you, you may request that the review be taken down, but we will not be able to refund your submission fee. If you wish to have your record re-evaluated by another reviewer, you will have to pay the fee again to resubmit it for review by another JFH staff member (this may only be done once). Jesusfreakhideout.com also reserves the right to alter the submission fee or signup terms at any time (but will not be altered for you after you've signed up under these terms). Finally, please know that JFH reserves the right to reject any submission--with full refund--if the content of the music or the artist's agenda conflicts at all with JFH's values or beliefs.
