Warr Acres cover
02. Sound The Alarm
Album: Warr Acres
Artist: Warr Acres

We are soldiers and saints
Marching on our way
Under light of the streets
With an urgent pace

We will fight to bring light
To the darkest of places
No, we won’t waste this time

Sound the alarm for the broken
For deafening cries unspoken
Sound the alarm for the voiceless
Sound the alarm for the burdened
For futures and dreams uncertain
Sound the alarm for the hopeless

To ignore and refrain
Is to take the blame
For a city that bleeds
From injustice and hate

Sound the alarm
