The One You Need cover
09. Running To You
Album: The One You Need
Artist: Shane & Shane

It’s a cold night in December I can barely stand
Lord help me to remember
Who I am
Oh who I am

To You
I’m a dead man raised

A liberated slave I’m runnin’
To You
My hands are raised I’m giving everything
And I’m running
My heart just started beating
Your breath filled up my lungs
My eyes are finally seeing

What You’ve done
And who I am
To You

I’m running,

I’m running
I’m running, running To You

Words by Shane Barnard, Shane Everett, Jason Ingram

Behind the Song:
"Often, in the business of life, we forget what Christ has done for us. Our eyes begin to drift from the truth, and before we know it, we can believe a thousand lies about who He is and who we are or aren’t. This song was written to remind us who we truly are and what we have because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ." - Shane Barnard
