More Christmas Songs EP cover
02. Almost Christmas
Album: More Christmas Songs EP
Artist: Jars of Clay

Children lay sleeping with hearts set aglow
Streets are silent and covered in snow
Almost Christmas
Heavenly hosts prepare to sing
We wait for the tidings of joy they will bring
At Christmas, Almost Christmas
Confounding our hopes for the light of the world
To come as a child born of a girl
At Christmas
Along with our burdens what else can be bring
To a savior in waiting What song can we sing?
At Christmas, Almost Christmas
Children lay sleeping with hearts set aglow
Streets are silent, covered in snow
