Farewell To Midnight cover
09. We Fight
Album: Farewell To Midnight
Artist: As We Ascend

Today is the day that you see what we’ve started
Now is the time that you hear what we’ve spoken

These locks are broken
This ship will sail into the storm
Your eyes will open

We fight for the sins of our fathers
This is not a war for the faint of heart
We take up arms in the name of
The one who was there from the very start

This was the dream that you had but you’ve woken
Only a fire that burns for the chosen

This is the curse that has fin’ly been broken
We are the fire that burns for the chosen

We fight for our sons and our daughters
This battle will rage on into the night
We are the bruised but not broken
We will not give up ‘til we’ve won the fight
