Sarah Brendel cover
05. King I Love
Album: Sarah Brendel
Artist: Sarah Brendel

He was born the Son of God
Still He came in flesh and blood
He inflamed a distant sun
To shine upon us
And when He first called out my name
I could see the mountains tremble

Here comes the King
Here comes the King I love
Here comes the King
Here comes the King I love, I love, I love, I love

He has died the world to save
But He overcame the grave
He ascended through the skies
To leave His Spirit
And when He raised me from the dead
I was wrapped in dead man’s clothing

And one day soon he will return
He will part the skies like lightening

Behind the Song:
'That’s about my hero, Jesus Christ, and His story and His life here on earth. It’s about how much I adore Him and how He was slain and gave everything for our sake. It’s not only a worship song, it’s a very emotional song for me as well.' - Sarah Brendel
