04. I Look To You
Album: Control, Vol. 2 - EP
Artist: Joel Vaughn

Verse

There are days I’m so afraid i’m so consumed with worry
Thinking bout the destination can’t enjoy the journey
Praying hard but in my heart I wonder if you heard me
Just as I start to give up hope I feel your spirit stirring
when the fears arise in me
I will lift my eyes to see

Chorus

I look to you
when I’m staring at my mountains scared that I can’t move ‘em
Oh God
I look to you
when I wander in the valley
I know that you are with me Leading
Me to the truth
In all that I do
I look to you

Verse 2

There are nights I lie awake just thinking how I failed you
Focused on what I don’t have and who I can’t compare to
But then you crash into the room and offer me a rescue
Lift my head and tell me that your mercy has made me new
And finally I believe
When I lift my eyes to see
