Ryan Ellis cover
01. Higher Ground
Album: Ryan Ellis
Artist: Ryan Ellis

I’m going where the light is shining
I’ll leave the wilderness behind me
Cause I go where You go
Cause I go where You go
They’re chasing but they’ll never catch me
I’m feeling arrows bouncing off me
Cause I go where You go
Yes
I go where You go
You’re taking me to higher ground
And can’t nobody touch me now
You’re not gon’ let me down
You’re not gon’ let me down
Oh won’t You take me higher
Lord won’t You take me higher
Oh won’t You take me higher
Lord won’t You take me hig
her
Higher, higher
I’m seeing everything so different
Above the battle cause I’m lifted
Cause I go where You go
Cause I go where You go
My scars will show the world where I’ve been
But I look to the ones in Your hands
Cause I go where You go
Yes I go where You go
You’re taking me to higher ground
And can’t nobody touch me now
You’re not gon’ let me down
You’re not gon’ let me down
Oh won’t You take me higher
Lord won’t You take
me higher
Oh won’t You take me higher
Lord won’t You take me higher
Lord won’t You take me higher (higher)
Lord won’t You take me higher (higher)
Lord won’t You take me higher (higher)
Lord won’t You take me higher (higher)
You’re taking me to higher
ground (higher)
And can’t nobody touch me now (higher)
You’re not gon’ let me down (higher)
You’re not gon’ let me down (higher)
Won’t You take me higher (higher)
Lord won’t You take me higher (higher)
