We Can't Stand Sitting Down cover
05. Hold On
Album: We Can't Stand Sitting Down
Artist: Stellar Kart

I am all around you
I see everywhere you see
I am everything you believe

Chorus
If the stars don’t shine tonight
And tomorrow forgets the light
Hold on
Hold on to me

You are loved completely
You mean everything to me
You will always be here with me

Chorus

With everything you have
Hold on to me
Don’t be afraid
I’m here to stay

Chorus

If your hope is running dry
And your dreams have waved goodbye
Hold on
Hold on to me

Written by Adam Agee / Jordan Messer

Behind the Song:
"This song deals with depression. It is written from God's perspective as he looks down on his hurting children. The chorus uses darkness to describe how depression leaves you alone and feeling worthless. Then God reassures us that He is still there and will always be there. At times in our lives, we all feel alone and distant from God or any form of love. Hopefully this song can be a reminder that God loves us unconditionally and He is always there waiting for us to call on Him." - Adam Agee (Stellar Kart)
