Unfit For Swine cover
02. God Is Too Big
Album: Unfit For Swine
Artist: John Schlitt

I'm talking to you
How you dealing with the pressure?
And what do you do
When you boat's in stormy weather?
Do you cry out Lord, "Why me?"
Or do you trust in Him to calm the wind and sea?
Is that too much to believe?

[Chorus]
No way can we understand
The meaning of His plan
Because God is too big
What box could we ever build
That could hold His will?
Because God is too big, Yeah!

I'm talking to you
don't you know that times are changing
And all of your rules
You know they might need rearranging
When you think you know it all
Could it be that you are thinking way too small?
Is it so wrong to move on?

[Chorus]
No one can truly conceive
The wonders of the God of all
Who still cares so much for you and me

[Chorus]
Because God is too big, Yeah!

Words: John Schlitt & Mark Heimermann Music: Ronnie Cates (Matthew 8:26; Ephesians 3:20-21; Isaiah 55:8-9)
