Actual Reality is simply an amazing Christian-based multimedia journey. This CD-Rom takes you on a trip through Christianity, with some of your favorite Christian music artists to be your guide.
As you navigate through the interactive menus complete with animations and sound, you'll see Rebecca St. James just pop-up in front of you in a movie theater and begin talking about Christ's life or Peter Furler from the Newsboys "beam" down in a space shuttle. Selected songs by Third Day, Jaci Valesquez, Audio Adrenaline, Out of Eden, & others are integrated into the program where you can listen to a song clip, then click on certain verses of the songs, cueing in band members or artists right in front of you to explain the meaning of the lyric. The program is also filled with many animations & video clips. The program's format makes the material good for preparing Bible Studies for youth groups & other activites. But if this isn't enough, There are at least 25 video clips from some of the best Christian artists including The Supertones, Church of Rhythm, Common Children, Five Iron Frenzy, Blackball, Fold Zandura, & many more. The only thing that could have made the program better would have been including full music videos rather than mere brief clips. Another problem is the program doesn't always work properly as it should. On some computers, the video clips on the program refuse to play while othertimes it glides along without a problem.
It's clear that a lot of time and attention went into the making of the Actual Reality program. All in all, the minds behind Actual Reality have gone above and beyond to create a truly wonderful multimedia experience.
