As this EP opens with the song "Compeating," it gives you a feeling that this is going to be a slower Starflyer 59 offering. When you skip ahead a little to "Happy Birthday John," you realize that the EP mixes it up a little. "Happy Birthday John" has a more upbeat country feeling, which is different for Starflyer 59. "Give Up The War" has a more Leave Here A Stranger vibe in the way that lead singer Jason Martin sings. Last, but not least, the very last song "Theme From Dromedary" is an instrumental offering that is built around beautiful guitars. It's one of those songs you would not expect from Starflyer 59 after hearing the previous 4 tracks. Overall, I give Can't Stop Eating a 4 star rating, just because it's amazing, cheap, and it's Starflyer.
