90-97: 8 Years to Nowhere was released over a year ago, but who cares. I'm going to tell you about it anyway. It's is a complilation of eight years of music and ministry by one of the most under-rated Christian punk rock bands. Crashdog deserves more credit than they get for a couple reasons. For one-- staying together for eight years. How many bands actually do that? Two- for being Christians and being sold-out to Christ. Three- For not losing any of their hardcore punk edge music over the years. Crashdog has never backed down in their lyrics. Always in-your-face with Christ and current day issues. You gotta love Crashdog.

This collection contains songs from their seven albums which include, Hard Knocks for Hard Heads (1990), Humane Society (1991), Pursuit of Happiness (1992), Mud Angels (1994), Cashists, Fascists, and Other Fungus (1995), Seven Inch Finch Pinch (1996), and Outer Crust(1997). It also contains all the lyrics to the songs on the disc. 25 songs in total.

If you have never heard Crashdog before, this is a bad example of what they sound like: The Crucified meets Social Distortion. If you don't know either of those bands, I can't really help you out. It's Punk Rock. It's not pop-punk, it's not hardcore punk, its not really old school... it's Crashdog. If you like straight up punk rock and people that stand up for what they believe in, you'll love Crashdog. I give this cd 10 punk rock points out of 10. Recommended if you like: The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Left out, One 21, The Crucified, Social Distortion, Outer Circle, The Adolescents, Sub Humans, Officer Negative, The Descendents.
