Furious? Records recently signed the band Everyone from San Luis Obispo, California. The group consists of Jeff Searles (vocals and guitar), Darren Clarke (guitar), Phil Siems (bass) and Daniel Whittington (drums). For those not familiar with Furious?, this is of course is the label run by Brit rockers Delirious? and is also home to All Star United and Graham Kendrick. Considering the great work Delirious produces, you might assume a band they sign to their label would be as extraordinary. Think again...

To kick off this disc, Everyone gives us well, "Everyone," an echo-driven worship tune with really trite lyrics. If you are looking for lyrical power, then this isn't the record for you as the songs are quite basic. Following up is one of the two songs on the disc I find quite entertaining. "Lovely Way" is an upbeat track with guitar sounds galore. "Jesus Saviour" would be the only real ballad song on the record. "Hold On" is a sure fire rock radio hit, having elements of early U2 that I really find appealing. On the other side, don't listen to "Love That You Give" late at night, unless you want to be put to sleep. Although it may be soothing, it is nothing to do flips over. After listening for a while, every song starts to sound about the same and "It's Alright" is no exception. Another guitar effect, moody-sounding song here. The album ends with "Only For You," a song about living a life totally sold out for Christ.

This band has potential but comes off sounding dreary while relying too heavily on hollow guitar effects that may be appealing at times, but can really be overdone if not careful.
