Switchfoot
Feet Don't Fail Me Now... DVD

Artist Info: Discography
Project length: 14 minute feature
Street Date: December, 2004

Every Christmas, for the past couple years, San Diego rock quartet Switchfoot has offered special holiday packages via their online store. Instead of the usual 'choose a tee or hoodie and get a bonus hat/beanie, several stickers and an autographed Christmas card for X amount of dollars,' 2004 has the band offering an exclusive DVD aptly entitled Feet Don't Fail Me Now...

Given that this is a special rarity just for fans, the DVD is limited to one main feature presentation. Clocking in just under fifteen minutes long, the DVD begins with a hilarious and silly inside look at the band and how each member has changed as they've progressed in 2004. We learn about Jerome's new accident-prone behavior, Chad's ability to fall asleep at the snap of a finger, Jon's obsession with donning a gorilla suit, and Tim's new martial arts talents. The feature continues on with the boys trying different ways to surf while on the road... even in places not well-suited for the sport. Feet Don't Fail Me Now... ends with Switchfoot discussing their forthcoming new project currently in production and how all of it has been written on the road in their spare time on recent tours. Fans will get to hear tiny tidbits of new songs, but nothing really substantial. The DVD comes to a close with an appropriate (and, to be honest, exciting) "To Be Continued..."

The Feet Don't Fail Me Now... DVD may be a teaser of what has been and what's to come but it's 14 minutes of sheer fun and an absolute must for true Switchfoot fans. This one looks to be available for a very limited time, so pick up your copy as soon as you can!
