One word comes to mind when I think of this album: amazing. It is probably the best albun that I own, and it was quite a surprise to me.
Dead Poetic combines the sounds of emo and hardcore to make a very God-oriented "screamo" record. The lyrics are amazing, the music is well-crafted, and I could listen to Brandon's voice for hours.
Songs range from the fast-paced screaming of "Tell Myself Goodbye" to the slow acoustics of "Bliss Tearing Eyes." Four Wall Blackmail deals with every emotion that a lot of Christian bands are afraid to address, such as depression. The emotions are captured so well, and yet show that God is still with those who are troubled. Four Wall Blackmail is a MUST have for those who like emo, screamo, indie, hardcore or punk music.
