Jessie Daniels
Limited Edition EP

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 6 tracks
Street Date: 2004

Hailing from Long Island, Jessie Daniels has recently emerged in both the Christian and secular music industries. At only 17 years old, Daniels has been featured as a model, an actress in independent films, and a singer. Signed with Brettian Production Record Label (South Africa), Daniels has shared the stage with names like Kutless, Sheryl Crow, Lonestar, Across the Sky, Rose Falcon, Plus One, and has appeared at Radio Disney shows across the country. Her music, first featured on her website, has been heard worldwide and she is now working on a full-length project. Daniels uses her amazing musical gift to touch the hearts of today's youth. Unlike some of her secular counterparts, Daniels brings a message of truth and hope to a generation who truly needs it.

The six-song Jessie Daniels EP, produced by Sam Mizell (Bryan Chan, Jump5, American Idol's RJ Helton), is full of strong rock and energetic vocals. Throughout the album you find genuine messages from Daniels expressing how people are not perfect and how with faith, hope, and love you can excel past mistakes. Despite the fact that it is only an EP with six songs, the fast beat and rock feel keep you listening to the album all the way through.

Starting off the self-titled EP is the vivacious, "Find Myself." Daniels begins the EP off on a great note with Daniels' powerful and passionate lyrics that bring a message of life from a Christian perspective. Next on the EP is "Human Being." With lyrics like "broken, captured, chosen, raptured, close the chapter to who I was yesterday", this song proclaims Jessie's view on who she is as a changed person in Christ. Daniels' heart for music is found throughout the whole EP. "Typical Miracle" takes the beat down a little while still being a rock sensation. After a few similar, slower songs, the album ends with the extremely powerful song "Single Word." The EP is an amazing beginning for this surprisingly mature artist.

Jessie Daniels' music draws comparisons of Michelle Branch, Stacie Orrico, and Evanescence. If you have an appreciation for the pop/rock/alternative genre then you may find a place for Jessie Daniels' new EP. It will be interesting to follow Daniels' progression as she creates her first full-length album, coming sometime this year.
